Update 3/15/24: Tennis courts are OPEN for the season

Located in the rear parking lof ot the James W. Foley Community Center.

  • 6 outdoor tennis courts for school and public use.
  • Public access to courts may vary based on Rec Department and Rochester School District scheduled programs.
  • Courts have lights. Users may activate lights until 11pm when courts are open by pressing button located on the middle court.
  • Open spring - fall season.
  • Courts are locked during winter months.

Visit rochesterrec.recdesk.com/Community/Calendar and select Community Center Tennis Courts from the All Facilities drop-down menu. This will show you what days and times the tennis courts are reserved. Any time during regular hours that is not marked "reserved" is open to the public for use during spring-fall season. 

Community Tennis Court Rules 

  • Hours: sunrise until 11pm 
  • Courts are for Tennis and Pickleball use only. 
  • Use tennis courts at your own risk. 
  • No food, gum, glass, smoking, or alcoholic beverages. 
  • No animals allowed on the courts. 
  • No bicycles, roller blades, skateboards, or scooters on the courts. 
  • Proper footwear required; no cleats or spiked shoes. 
  • Do not abuse the nets or other equipment. 
  • During the Spaulding Tennis Season (mid-March through early June) the courts are reserved for practice and matches Monday-Friday 2:15pm-7:15pm.
